Trip 10 Cleanse

Because all of us were in the water after the flip, many "survivors" :) mentioned that they would like somewhere to post their story while floating down the river after the Lunch Counter Cleanse (read previous post). Or even if you were in the other boat, tell us your story from your point of view! It all happened so fast, we aren't sure what took place!

So, share your story here by adding your comment below.

After the flip, I was so relieved once I surfaced that Alex was good. I grabbed Alex, then I swam to the nearest boat full of strangers. I placed Alex in that boat and then I swam after Theresa who had begun her float down river. Once I reached her, I told Theresa to hold onto my jacket and swim, and we both started on an amazing, rapid/hydrolic filled journey of bumps, scrapes, and lots of water inhalation. We made it together though, and we will be forever bonded! Right, Theresa?

Wow! Scary, but glad to hear everyone is safe.
Keep the stories coming- I did not get to be there so I have to read up on everything I missed.

Hey,Alex here, this is what happened to me!
After the flip, I started to spin while underwater. Then I came to the surface and saw Tracy. So I swam over to him and he helped me get to my dad. Then while I was with Dad a guy over where my mom was taking pictures threw a rope. My Dad grabbed it but the current was too strong so he had to let go.
Next he threw me up in a boat full of strangers. A few minutes later Aubrey and Michealle climbed aboard.
The boat we were on pulled over to the side and we boarded another boat. Then Tracy came swimming around the corner and climbed in with us.
Finally Lee's boat came around the corner and we were all able to get in with him.
About 10 minutes after that, my Dad's boat came into view. I was so glad to see him! That was a very scary trip! I'm going to have a great story to tell my friends at school!

I am glad everyone is okay! There is not much scarier than not knowing where your child is! I am glad, Alex, that you want to share your adventure with your friends.

Other than the last run, it looks like a great time. Wish we could have been there!
