Anyway, one bonus of having twins is an ultrasound at every visit so in we went to see our little angels. The first one was waving its arms and legs and had a heartbeat so we moved on to baby 2. From the angle we were at we could see baby 2's profile and the top of baby 1's head. Then Baby 2 started waving it's little arm and we could very clearly see a hand with all five fingers. It was darling! We were both so excited and enthralled watching it wave it's perfect little hand around. Then, I kid you not, Baby 2 reached up and punched its sibling in the head! I looked at the doctor and said "did my kid just hit the other one?" He confirmed that was what he saw.
So here we are. My babies are what, 4 inches long and like 1 ounce each and already bugging each other. I can hear it now "mom, he's hitting me", "mom, she's sitting on my head".
So sweet, so precious.
Aww that made me cry. I loved seeing my kids on the ultrasound. I am so excited for both of you!
That is so adorable! How exciting!
Is this Jenny Edgington of Kearns High School circa 1994? Just curious, it's one small world out there. This is Nicole Lynes (now Kemp). We worked at McDonalds during the summer of 1992.
I know the Kelly's via Gallery and the Posell's. Good to see people from the past.
Congrats again! We are so happy for you. How far along are you and when is your due date? Lots of love!
How funny! I used to LOVE seeing my kids on the ultra sound. We caught one of our kids sucking her thumb. I had to go to the doctor's office the other day and have an ultra sound done to check on my uterus and it was the strangest thing to look up at the monitor and not see anything in there. STRANGE, I tell you. I'm so excited for you guys! I can't wait to see them in person. Some day soon.
Does this mean you are having a boy and girl or do you know yet? Thaat is going to be fun to find out:) Hopefully you will see more womb shananagins with ultrasounds so often. They will love this story one day!
That is too funny!
These little guys or gals are truly a miracle from beginning to end. We already know so much about
them through modern technology and will know more real soon.
Hooray for Ultrasounds!!!!!
