I am large
It has been a while since I have been to the gym or paid any attention to eating right. So this week, Monday to be exact, I decided that I would fix those two dilemmas. Who knows how long this resolution will last, but I get points for trying, right?
I have been running everyday this week and I feel so much better. Sure, I ache and my body has gone into workout shock, but I can feel progression ever so slowly.
And as far as eating? I have the best cook as a wife EVER! She has fallen in love with the website www.allrecipes.com and she hasbeen cooking up a storm. Not just cooking mind you, but creating some of the most amazing meals I have EVER tasted. She loves to cook it and I love to eat it! We make a great team.
Not only is her cooking wonderful, she has been going out of her way to make healthy stuff too. If I can eat meals that taste as good as what she has made and they not make me look like a whale, I imagine this is what the Celestial Kingdom will be like.
I would like to bear my testimony that Healthy+Delicious=Feel Good! Try it out! (thanks Kelly Anne for putting us onto that site!)
Here are a couple of links to recipes Jenny has made for our last three meals.

I didn't eat the creamy sauce, but they were glorious even without!

I have made a resolution to start coooking so I love the links!! Another website I have come to love is recipezaar.com I aspire to be like Jenny and become an amazing cook one day. Right now it is done with more of a chore type feeling than a joy so maybe I will reach that one day too.
Perfect! I love new recipes! One day I will get back into the gym. High hopes. Motivation is key - and I don't have any of it!
Dude, your not large -just big boned.
I've tried some recipes from that site before...but I didn't like them. I don't remember which ones they were...but, I am also not a very experienced cook either lol. I try. :) Thanks for sharing the links to some that you like though.
Good luck with the working out thing. I hear once you get on a schedule for 2 weeks that it becomes routine and very easy...who knows? I've never made it that long! haha
Oooo...I do love to cook. I guess that comes naturally being from the south. Just last year I got into a more healthy lifestyle. LOVE IT! So, I would like ot bear my testimony about it as well...
Ditto.
Hey,
we were able to sample mashed cauliflower last week when Jenny made it and brought it over to have with the turkey I made. We all loved it. Matt, we are cheering you on with your weight goals!!!
