So my hearing may be gone for good. There is just this constant ringing now...
Tonight, I experienced a special treat. An old friend, Taylor Orton, is on his way to fame and I thought I would go and see him along his journey. Taylor belongs to a rockin' band called I Am The Ocean. They are an extremely heavy rock band that can really get the heads banging and the ear drums exploding. They were very loud, but after the initial shock of it all, I didn't mind sacrificing my aural abilities in order to hear their music.
Taylor is the drummer who keeps the band rolling and I was amazed at how awesome he is!
Which reminds me of my own dreams of being a rock star... Oh, and for those of you who don't know, I am well on my way as well.
I received ROCK BAND for Christmas for the XBOX 360 and I've decided this whole Rock Star thing isn't so bad. I am totally cut out for it.
Alex is my drummer and he is coming along nicely, and with me on the plastic controller guitar, the sky is the limit. Imagine (sorry no pictures, ever) of Alex playing some nine inch nails on the drums while I am thrashing away on the red, green, blue and yellow keys on my guitar, well, let's just say we are really something.
So Taylor, your band may be rockin', but Alex and I aren't far behind!
Matt-we're coming to play backup next week!
Taylor thought it was pretty cool he made your blog!! The minute I saw that picture I new it was my bro. My dad is sending a drum set to Robby for Christmas-- he wants Robby to follow in the family foot steps I guess:) Thanks for the support of Taylor--I know he needs and loves it
